Programs Wanted, or, Auburn’s Got Talent

No matter your talent or skill, we would love to help you put on a program here at Griffin Free Public Library. We feel that the best ideas for events come from the community – and if you think something is worth learning, some of your neighbors probably do to. We are happy to help you develop an idea, and we will advertise and give you a place to host it. Here are a few examples:

  • Keeping your own herb garden
  • An introduction to serious crossword puzzles
  • How to get the most out of coupons
  • Just a short drive: Day trips from Auburn
  • Basic car repair for beginners
  • Hosting a great Academy Award watching party

The list goes on and on. If you can teach it, we would love to have you. Remember, the library is here for more than just checking out books – we want to support the community getting together to share ideas and activities. We are looking for quality events all year long. Please get in touch with me via or by calling the library.
