Financial Planning and Independent Publishing in early December

Time is running short for you to register for two upcoming educational programs that Griffin Free is excited to host. If either of the following seem interesting to you, or to someone you know, please register or pass the information along.

The first program will be on Thursday, Dec. 4th at 7:00 p.m. Local author Cher Griffin will share information on independent publishing, including information on how to get started and tips for budding writers. There will also be information on current topics in the field, and a chance to ask questions of a successful independent author. Contact the library to register for this event.

The second program will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 9th from 2-4 p.m. Attorney Edward Beasley will discuss financial planning for retirees, including information on protecting your family’s assets when using trusts, Powers of Attorney, and other legal tools. This is a completely FREE seminar that will help put you in a good financial situation. To register for this program, please call 1-800-370-5010.

For more details on these events, please visit our calendar of events, or contact us.

We hope that many of you can take advantage of these opportunities to learn right here in your hometown. Thank you for being a part of Griffin Free!
