A Glimpse of our 2015 Programs for Adults

We are in the midst of planning some wonderful programming for this year, and thought you might be interested in knowing what is on the table. Of course, there is still plenty of time for changes, but there’s no harm in taking an early look at the schedule. We hope our slate of programs for this year will interest you, and ask that you please let us know if you have any suggestions about future programs – we love hearing new ideas!

COMING THIS YEAR TO GRIFFIN FREE

  • Visits from local authors – Patricia Kilham (Feb. 10), Dan Szczesny (Mar. 5th), and more to come
  • New Hampshire Humanities Council – The Old Man of the Mountain: Substance and Symbol (in partnership with the Auburn Historical Association) – spring
  • New Hampshire Humanities Council – Wit and Wisdom in 19th Century New England – TBA
  • New Hampshire Humanities Council – A Visit With Abraham Lincoln (in partnership with the Auburn Historical Association) – fall
  • College Night – financial planning workship/FAFSA – Feb. 25th
  • Adult Summer Reading (featuring new opportunities and great prizes) – summer
  • 3rd Annual Griffin Free Public Library Open House – Apr. 12th
  • Annual Book Sale – July 25th/26th
  • Lots more to be determined!

For most adult programming, we ask that you register in advance. This can be done in person at the library, or by phone or email. If registration is required, this will be noted on posts here and on our calendar of events, as well as on our Facebook page. If you would like to register for any of the above events, please feel free to do so at any time (registration not required for Summer Reading, Open House, or Book Sale).

We hope you will stay tuned to griffinfree.com for more announcements to come about our exciting slate of programs in 2015. Thank you for following us online, and for being a vital part of Griffin Free!
