Griffin Free Public Library – Auburn, NH

Where Auburn Comes Together!

Make a donation to the library

UPDATE: July 2020 – Unfortunately our storage sheds are full and we are currently unable to accept ANY donations. We are very sorry for the inconvenience! We are working to clean out our sheds, but it is a slow process. We will let you know when we are able to accept donations again. Thank you for your understanding!

We are always appreciative of your donations to Griffin Free Public Library. Before donating, however, please review our donations policy.

We know that donations can come in many forms. Please find the category for your donation below to get  information on how to arrange for the donation.

Time – One of the most valuable things you can give the library is your time. If you wish to volunteer, explore our volunteer guidelines.

Money – Small financial donations are always accepted, both in cash or by check. Checks can be made to Griffin Free Public Library. For large monetary donations, please contact the library director.

Equipment – Computer equipment, shelving, bookcases, and other library-type equipment are often needed by the library. Before bringing anything in, please contact Ricky Sirois to arrange specifics.

Books/DVDs/CDs/audiobooks – We are happy to accept donations of these items year-round. All donations are examined for possible use in our collection. Items not selected for the collection are then placed into our annual book sale. Items that are dirty or that have a strong odor will be discarded. Please note that we do not accept encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, textbooks more than 10 years old, magazines, or VHS tapes.

Artifacts/historical books/documents/other items – Please contact the library director at director@griffinfree.org if you have items of collectible or historical significance (especially to Auburn or New Hampshire) that you wish to donate to the library, or if none of the listed categories matches your donation type.
